Youth Ministry

Ashley.pngHello, my name is ashley Huss and I am excited to introduce myself as St. Apollinaris' Youth Director! I grew up in Napa was baptized at St. Apollinaris, and graduated from Kolbe Academy / Trinity Prep.

From an early age I felt the call to become a missionary so that I could serve and grow deeper in my relationship to Christ. In July of 2014 I became a missionary and was sent to Washington DC, where I served for two years teaching religious educaitons, leading girls clubs, youth groups, camps and retreats in many different diocese along the east coast. Since then, my heart has been set afire to serve in youth ministry. Since I moved back to California, I have led the local diocesan summer camp, mission trip, youth day, and worked as youth minister at St. Anthony of Padua parish in Novato.

Currently, I am studying to get a degree through Holy Apostles College. I feel very blessed to be given the opportunity to serve at my home parish in youth ministry.

My job will consist of leading the Confirmation program, youth group, and work with parish families to enhance our youth programs. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and sharing my passion for youth ministry.
