What is an act of Spiritual Communion?
Spiritual communion was defined by St Thomas Aquinas as “an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the Holy Sacrament and a loving embrace as though we had already received Him”. In the present context it means not receiving the Blessed Sacrament physically. The following prayer might be useful in making a spiritual communion:
"My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.”

ALL PARISH EVENTS, MEETINGS & GATHERINGS ON CHURCH PROPERTY ARE CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
